P.O.E.M. Peer Programming Activity
- Goal is to do peer programming & learn somehting from each other
- How we get there is the person who wrote code sends it to their partner(s) and helps them use their code to generate a new poem
- send code with backticks ```
HOMEWORK
We will share all your python poetry from the last two weeks next week in a big sharing day
P.O.E.M. AGAIN
- POEM (Prophetic Oration of Electronic Memories)
- Generate a poem by manipulating, treating, filtering, and/or rearranging a text(s) of your choosing with python. Draw on the additional code we learned this week. Consider where you poem's final form is and if it can be dynamic.
⤑ consider the final form of your poem: just because you made your poem with a computer doesn’t mean its final form is on a computer – perhaps you can sculpt, perform, draw, stitch, or otherwise bring your poem into non-digital space!
Building our Artwork Library
- Share an artwork or two that relates to the ideas of code societies or cybernetic sculpture that inspires or elicits a strong reaction from you. We will discuss some
of these in class and all of the submissions will be viewable by everyone.
