1. P.O.E.M. sculpture

• take some language (a word, a line, a poem) that you have generated computationally and make it physical in some way

add to slideshow – take at least one photo OR a less than 60 second video

print! handwrite! on printer paper! on parchment paper! on your body! on your bedroom wall! on the wall of your doctor’s office! tattoo it! post your poem as a restaurant review on google maps! record a video of you calling [your mom, your friend, the local church] and reading them your poetry! make paper chain garlands!

2. Current Event -> Code Societies

find something currently happening in the world relate it to social, legal, digital codes in ~1 paragraph – we will be sharing in breakout group

submit it by adding it on a slide

3. Watch and listen to Tabita Rezaire

Next week we will move our files we echo'd and touched and cat'd and our folders we have mkdir'd onto THE WEB. The web is a code society. The web is a cybernetic sculpture. What materials is the sculpture made out of and what supply chains across history have moved them around the world, into our homes, and inside our pockets?
